Can I remove the pink from a dress and dye it yellow?

I bought a dress that has a coral pink under-layer and very very light pink eyelet lace overlay. I want the whole dress to be yellow. Is there a way that I could get the pink color out and re-dye it yellow? It is 100% cotton throughout.
