Can i install bitumen over concrete footpath? Foot path is in good condition just needs to be black colour?

The concrete is in good condition but the colour is not nice, balck is required. Painting the concrete is not a long term solution for very high traffic location. Would the exsisting concrete be a good foundation for a bituman overlay?
