Awww. Your story reminds me of when i was in Middle school, in 7th grade. Now im in high school. But instead it was the opposite. I always this guy who treated me as a friend, then he did exactly like what she was doing to you, and we would play with each other back and forth, then he confessed that he likes me. These signs that she is giving you automatically means she's likes you MORE than a friend. but dont ask her about it. Maybe when you guys are alone one day, and playing around with her, just randomly give her a soft kiss on the lips, and see how she reacts. Best of luck! :)
